Miners
Telcoin Network
Participants, Eligibility and Authorization
- Participants, Eligibility and Authorization: Anyone with TEL, an internet connection, and web3 wallet may transact using Telcoin Network.
- Overview: All platform miners are natural consumers of Telcoin Network, and anyone who transacts generally using Telcoin Network.
Consumer Activities and Benefits by Product
Blockspace
- Activity: Users pay TEL gas fees to have their transactions included in a block and secured to the blockchain ledger by validators.
- Example: A user sends 1,000 TEL to a friend, paying gas to have their transaction included in the next block and secured to the blockchain.
- Benefit: Decentralized, fast, global transactions at any time without relying on third parties.
- Technology Used
- Gas Tokens: Users need TEL or other governance approved gas tokens in order to pay gas fees and have their transactions included in a block and secured to the blockchain by validators.
- Web3 Wallet: Users need an EVM-compatible wallet to securely store and transact assets using their public-private key pair.
- Internet Connection: Users need an internet connection to access the Telcoin Network and its benefits.
On-chain programs “smart contracts”
- Activity: Developers may deploy smart contracts and users access those programs “peer to contract” by transferring their assets to a program, that automatically self-executes and self-enforces a specific set of rules that authorize property rights over digital goods and services without reliance on central intermediation or custody.
- Example: A user swaps USDC for TEL on a decentralized exchange protocol, paying fees to liquidity providers and developers.
- Benefit: Developers can build autonomous, digital goods and services using on-chain programs (“smart contracts”), that self-execute and self-enforce any infinite number of programmable rules that authorize any infinite number of activities between users and digital services without reliance on central actors to operate centralized systems.
- Technology Used
- Solidity code: Developers create and deploy smart contracts using the EVM native programming-language, solidity.
- Gas Tokens: Users and Developers need TEL or other governance approved gas tokens in order to pay gas fees and deploy their programs to the blockchain and have their transactions included in a block and secured to the blockchain by validators.
- Web3 Wallet: Users need an EVM-compatible wallet to securely store and transact assets using their public-private key pair.
- Internet Connection: Users need an internet connection to access the Telcoin Network and its benefits.
Public-private key pairs
- Activity: Consumers generate a public-private key pair “account” and transfer their assets to their account, taking full self-custody over their property without relying on intermediaries.
- Example: A user generates an account, sends 10,000 TEL to their public address, and self-custodies their TEL.
- Benefit: Consumers can securely self-custody digital scarcity without relying on intermediaries.
- Technology Used
- Web3 Wallet: Users need an EVM-compatible wallet to securely store and transact assets using their public-private key pair.
- Internet Connection: Users need an internet connection to access the Telcoin Network and its benefits.
Immutable, distributed ledger
- Activity: Consumers can verify the entire record of ownership, ownership history and transaction history on the Telcoin Network.
- Benefit: The ability to verify the history and current record of all transactions, ownership, and the historical record of the blockchain at any time.
- Example: A user sends 10 TEL to a friend, and inserts the transaction hash in a block explorer to review that the transaction was processed to the blockchain and has been received by their friend.
- Technology Used
- Internet Connection: Users need an internet connection to access the Telcoin Network and its benefits.
