Governance NFTs

Custom Sablier enhanced ERC721 contracts will be used to grant voting power and TEL issuance to council members.

Function

NFTs mark council members and grant them voting power. TEL streams from the treasury into NFT holders’ wallets.

Specification

• Each Council has its own NFT Contract that marks its members, and empowers them with proposal and voting authority within their domain of governance (e.g. Snapshot, Discord).
• Each NFT holder gets a Sablier stream of TEL into their wallet.

Rationale

Giving NFTs to council members makes it easy to keep track of council members, pay them, and make voting strategies on Snapshot.
